Heathmont Don Romancier has stunning good looks and is exceptionally well bred, sired by Don Kennedy who is by the legendary dressage stallion Donnerhall. Don Kennedy was also a champion in his own right as the undisputed Oldenburger Champion Stallion in 2003. Don Romancier’s dam was imported to Australia and is sired by Blu Hors Romancier, who competed internationally at Prix St Georges. Don Romancier is following in the footsteps of his ancestors, showing signs of talent for top level dressage and schooling all of the Prix St Georges movements – half pass, pirouettes and flying changes. Unfortunately, his owner has more than a full-time job in Sydney, so sadly Don Romancier hasn’t had a chance to get out to competitions yet. But the hard training is done, all he needs is a rider!
